Delta State FA Cup: Delta Stars face J Atete in final

Delta Stars of Ughelli narrowly defeated World of Life Bible Church International, WLBCI 2-1 in the semi final of the Delta state Federation Cup at the Kwale Township Stadium on Sunday.
The Church lads gave Delta Stars a good fight but but a strike few minutes to regulation time gave the more experienced side the victory to face defending Champion J Atete in the final.
J Atete who equally defeated Igho FC 2-1 in the first semi final has won the Delta state FA Cup back to back in 2016 and 2017 edition.
