Benin- Plans have been perfected for Edo musician to perform live in the year 2018/Go Africa, Harlem street festival in America.
The July 14 festival will give American, Africa American and Caribbean American the golden opportunity to witness the rich cultural heritage of the Edo's especially that of the great Benin Kingdom.
According Mr. Richard Iyasere, Go Africa Senior Director for African Affairs & Promotion, he said about nine Edo Indigenes (Edo music legend sons) including a Nigerian Journalist is expected to graced the 2018 Harlem street festival in U.S.
'We are expecting about nine of them come this year festival plus our dependable Nigerian/Africa Journalist partners, they coming to showcase to Americas what the Benin culture entails, we divided to invite them to this year edition because it is a festival for Africans. One can not really talk about African culture without that of the Benin in southern Nigeria. He said.
'The CEO of Go Africa network Inc, Dennie Beach is very happy and prepare to welcome these contingents from Benin. Iyasere added.
Go Africa is a leading Non- Governmental Organization committed to building better Africa community as well as promoting the wellbeing of Africans living in New York. They organise cultural festival exhibition to celebrate diverse cultural activities of Africans annually.
