Uhumwonde - Edebiri family on Sunday threw their weight behind their son Mr RICHARD UYI EDEBIRI, Aspirant vying for Uhumwonde constituency at the state house of assembly.
The event saw the entire families, both nuclear and extended of the Edbiris coming together to pray for their son so as to enable him succeed in the forth coming general election vis-Ã -vis coming out as the flag bearer for All Progressive Congress, APC, in the Local Government.
According to Elder Sunday Edebiri, head of the family, he described the decision of their son to contest the state house of assembly position as right decision in right direction.
He advised every member of the Edebiri family should take upon themselves to support Richard so that he can help the people of the Uhumwonde enjoy the true positive dividends of democracy.
Earlier, Richard Edebiri had inform the family members on the reason why he choose to represent his constituency, saying that he decided to do so haven taken a close observation on the level of development on the area.
"I want Uhumwonde to take it rightful place in the scheme of things in Edo state so that we can be the talk of town both in Edo and Nigeria at large even as i'm ready to consolidate on the present development on ground".
He thanked his family members for organising such gathering which he says will go a long way in making sure he succeed in his political ambition of alleviating the sufferings of his constituents if elected.
