Abandoned projects everywhere, US base businessman seek Edo State Govt intervention.

By Factsreportersng

One would expect that with the massive developmental project across Edo state, Urhonigbe as one of the largest community in the state should host more of these projects but that is not the case.

This was the submission of a former Local Government chairmanship aspirant in Orhionwmon, Mr Etin Odiase who expressed dissatisfaction over the level of development in orhionmwon, which he said has contributed immensely to the development of the state.

Mr Etin Odiase said government at levels in the state should consider his 'people' whom he said lack basic healthcare system, suffers security threats and others pressing issues.

"When you go to Urhonigbe, you will see abandoned projects everywhere, like the uncompleted road construction in Okao quarter, abandoned building that was suppose to be use for court or Hospital purpose, abandoned completed police station and the healthcentre which is in a state of total breakdown, you can see the empty place call healthcare centre.

"I know the Governor is not aware of this because if he is aware he would order for a total positive turn around.

Mr Odiase said he had concluded plans to purchase beds for health care facilities in the area, why he awaits the state and LGA.

He thanked the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki for the reactivation of Urhonigbe rubber Estate and the local Government for the relief materials, the council donated to his people during the rain storm disaster.

"I want to also commends the Governor productive agenda, which will go along way in changing the narrative of Edo as a state", the US base businessman added.
