Breaking: APC Urhonigbe South ward 8 suspend former EDSOGPADEC member

The All progressive congress, APC, Urhonigbe South ward 8, Orhionmwon LGA, Edo state has suspended the former EDSOGPADEC member, Hon Sunday Iyamu.

In a letter signed by 28 party members from the ward a combination of executives and leaders of the ward, made available to factsreportersng they alleged that the former Oil and Gas committee member has turn political aspirants from his ward to automated teller machine, ATM, including other crimes capable of killing the party in the ward.

According to the letter, six reasons were listed for his suspension which includes, collection of #1.8m from the two candidate that contested for the ward councillorship election last year and seven hundred thousand from the party house of Reps candidate in the just concluded primaries. His refusal to show up for the party primaries after collecting money from various candidates including other allegations.

The APC members said the suspension is for the best interest of the party and concluded in the letter by highlighted their theme of reference as follows. To ensure a total victory for the party in the forth coming general election, to reconcile all factional/aggrieved party member in the ward.

Meanwhile effort to reach Mr Sunday Iyamu was unsuccessful as phone calls to his phone was answered by someone who to be one of the excos from the same ward but could not speak authoritatively on the issue, although he denied the suspension and further said he can not help in reaching the suspended former EDSOGPADEC member.
