Hon. Osamwonyi Evbaguehita Atu, member representing Orhionwmon in Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, EDSOPADEC and director general, APC campaign organization in the LGA has assured his people of his continueos commitment towards the development of the area.
He made this declaration recently when he hosted the people to marked the beginning of the new year in his home resident, Evbobanosa.
Hon Atu said the ceremony became necessary owing to the fact that promoting peace and unity amongst all sons and daughters of Orhionmwon particularly the people of Evbobanosa is what will lead to the actualization of a developed area.
According to him, "it was time for all Orhionmwon indigenes to come together and celebrate themselves irrespective of our political affiliations. Am fully concerned and committed to the realization of a better Orhionwmon"
"You all should see yourselves as brothers and sisters, this ceremony has become an annual event, it's more like a family meeting where internal issues are discussed.
Speaking during the event, the member representing Orhionwmon/Uhumwode federal constituency Hon Patrick Aisowieren said Atu is a quintessential politician whose mandate was ordained by God, based on what he has done.
" I have always loved Atu as a politician, he believed in the unity and development of Orhionmwon and Edo state.
On his part the NDDC commissioner in the state, Hon. Saturday Uwuilekhue commended him for spending joyous and remarkable time with his people in the village.
