May day: your welfare is my priority, Okoro assures Orhionmwon workers
...as council boss sue for more IGR, says all hand must be on deck

Chairman of Orhionmwon local government council, Hon. Sylvestre Okoro has assured workers of the council that their welfare remain his priority in his administration.
He said it was not in doubt that the developmental strides and peaceful cooperation his administration had recorded since inception of office was as a result of hard work, understanding and cooperation of the council workers and the entire people of Orhionmwon.
Speaking during the may day celebration through APC publicity secretary in the LGA, Mr Roy Osariemen, while assuring the workers of better day, he challenged the workers on the need to be more extra creative in other to boost the internally generated revenue within the area.
" I enjoin all Orhionmwon workers to continue to put in their best in service to the government and humanity, let us shun any form of lackadaisical attitude to duty, absenteeism and sharp practices for this will not help is as a people"
" As government we will keep to our own side of the bargain by ensuring salaries are paid as at when due. Creating worker's friendly environment for optimal performance, we must all join hands together to boost our IGR the situation is not too encouraging and we should as one entity work for a better tomorrow so as to enable this administration meet its obligation to both the worker and the people across the twelve wards of the LGA.
" I wish you all a happy celebration, Okoro added.
