Group Donates Housing block to Leprosy Home

In other to alleviate the suffering of the people leaving with Leprosy in the state, a German based, Edo community E.V. Kassel has donated a housing block of 4unit 8 rooms with toilet and kitchen worth millions of Naira to Ossiomo specialist hospital in Ogan village, Orhionmwon local government area, Edo State.
The donation which is coming amid the current economic hardship and high cost of living in the country is something many Nigerians has commended.
Commissioning the building, the state commissioner for health, Dr. David Osifo accompanied by the permanent secretary ministry of health the commended the group and thanked them for embarking on such project at this point in time in the country.
Dr. David Osifo said other well meaning Nigerians both home and abroad should emulate Edo Community Ev Kassel Germany in providing succor for the needy.
"This is what government need, we need people to complement what government is doing. As am presenting this building to the hospital management, we believe that this project will be use for the benefit of mankind"
Chief Medical director of the hospital Dr. Igbinigie Osaigie, thanked the Edo Community for their gesture towards the hospital over the years.
On his part, the project executor architect, Aro Asayimwen displayed some photos showing how the building was before and now and appreciate the group led by Mr Lando Eguavoen and Henry Iheukwumere as secretary for their laudable effort.
It will be recall that the Edo Community Kassel Ev under the leadership of Mr Lando Eguavoen as President and Henry Iheukwumere as secretary visited the leprosy inmates home last year with gift items when they promise to rebuild some of the dilapidated structures which is manifesting presently.
