UCAN donates beds to Edo health centre

As part of it effort to providing quality health care to the people of Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Edo state, Urhonigbe Community Association of Nigeria, UCAN, has given four beds to the primary health centres in Urhonigbe and Okogbo communities.

The Chirman of Board of Trustees, Urhonigbe Community Association of Nigeria, Mr. Etinosa Odiase told newsmen that the gesture is a way of giving back to the society, so that the grassroot people can have access to quality health facility that would enable them live a heathy life and have sense of belonging.

Mr. Odise noted that the one donated to Okogbo community health centre was his personal gift saying he has to look beyond Urhonigbe.

"As a true son of Urhonigbe community in Orhionmwon ward 8, my quest for Orhionmwon development have no boundaries. That is why i'm affecting another community in Ukpato ward"

"I bought one bed personally for Okogbo people so that they can fill that inclusiveness, we are one"

Mr. Odise promised to continue to do his best for the people of the local council especially Urhonigbe community.

Comrade Eribo Osaratin Jolly who is the Special Assistant to Gov Godwin Obaseki in Ukpato ward thanked Mr Odiase for extending his humanitarian gesture to his people.

Meanwhile, the Council chairman Hon Sylvestre Okoro commended UCAN effort and urge every Orhionmwon Sons and Daughters to always think of what will move the LGA forward.

Hon Okoro who was represented by the Supervisory chancellor for health, Hon Blessed Edughaen promise to make proper use of the facilities.
