Nigeria union of Journalist, NUJ has congratulated the new national chairman of of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Comr Ahmed Aigbona.
Aigbona emerged the association national chairman after the triennial national delegate conference in FCT the capital city of Nigeria on Monday.
In a statement jointly released by the chairman and secretary of NUJ Edo state council, Sir Roland Osakue and Comr Titus Akhigbe urged the new national chairman, Comr Aigbona who is the former chairman of Edo SWAN to carry everyone along and ensure that losers are brought back to fold.
"The leadership of NUJ, Edo state council is very happy that one of own is now the national chairman of Journalists who write sports. He has all it takes to lead as SWAN national level because of his exemplary performance when he was the chairman of the association in Edo state"
"We want to also advise him to carry all members along even the losers should be carried along too because he needs everybody to succeed in this new assignment the statement added.
