Ned Nwoko golf tournament: Okoro emerge winner

Mr Chikwudi Okoro emerge the winner of the one day part 3 golf tournament organise by Prince Ned Nwoko foundation.

The overall prize winner scopes  sixty five nets, fifty six grand score, over eighteen holes with the highest beds of six total, two front and four back.

Mr Okoro is a Benin base golfer has represented Nigeria at various categories in golf tournament across the continent of Africa.

Donaltus Isuku and Emeka Adikpe of Delta state fell behind as first and second runner up with total scores of fifty seven and fifty eight nets respectively.

Earlier, the organizer of the tournament, Prince Ned Nwoko during the ceremonial tee off, told newsmen that, the tournament which has become annual event is gear towards bringing awareness to golf as sport and to also give succor to the youths who may fine interest in sporting activities.

According to him, "I love sport, from football, tennis name it, not just golf. This is part of the plan of my plans to help people who want to develop themselves in sport"

As you know, I'm building a university that is 100% sports base, the first of it kind in Africa, even when you want to study law, you must also do sport. So  graduates will have double honours" both the normal academics degree and that of sport combined Prince Nwoko.
