The Chief executive officer, CEO, of New York record label has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, the Omo N’ Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin Kingdom on the celebration of the 2019 Igue Festival in Benin City.
Mr Richard Iyasere said the cultural masterpiece serves as a distinctive platform to reconnect with the values that sustains the rich cultural history, heritage and the uniqueness of the Benin as people and as a kingdom.
According to him, respecting our heritage is very sacrosanct, it servers as a catalyst for cultural diversity and a guarantee for sustainable development in our kingdom.
"This season is our christmas, Igue festival brings joy to the Benin's all over the universe, God and our ancestors will continue to protect our Royal father, Oba Ewuare II for stationing our heritage. Benin kingdom is a home of culture"
Mr Iyasere commended His Royal Majesty for his distinguished and exemplary leadership. He also prayed that Oba's reign “should continue to bring joy, prosperity and robust health in abundance to the entire Benin race, both home and in the diaspora.
"I want to also felicitate with the people of my home town, Urhonigbe, Orhionmwon LGA as we prepare towards 2019 Ekaba festival, trust is going to be a wonderful celebration he added.
