The immediate past deputy governor of Edo State Dr Pius Odubu have join thousands of individuals globally to celebrate Nigerian woman as part of activities to celebrate the 2020 world mother's days.
According to a letter sent us personally by Dr Odubu, 'as the world celebrates mothers, i wish to Felicitate with all mothers and to express my personal appreciation for the love and sacrifices of mothers at home, family and society.
'Women all overrhe world have been pillars of hope, salvation and prosperity to humanity. From the exemplary lives of Holy Mary, Mother Of Jesus, Mother Theresa , Our own Queen Idia and Queen Amina , Deaconess Endurance Odubu(my beloved Wife and mother of my offsprings) and my indefatigable Mother Iye Imuegbeyogho Odubu, mothers have always remained ever loving, caring and Sacrificial.
In Edo State and our nation Nigeria, our mothers remains the bedrock of whatever successes we need to achieve and as such women deserves more roles in our politics, economy as well as other facets of our National life.
