The Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government, Comrade John Osi Akhigbe have warned those dragging his name concerning the rumor making round that he orchestrated the suspension of four councillor's in the LGA.
In a statement made available to FACTSREPORTERS by the Chief Press Secretary, Comr. Ibrahim Umaru he said the rumour should be disregarded in its entirety as it lacks merit and sense of logical reasoning, owning to the fact that legislative is a different arm which operate Independently 'Comrade Akhigbe is the head of the Executive don't have any Legislature.
According to him, 'my chairman as a goal-oriented council boss who has made Etsako Central the best and most recognized Local Government in Nigeria in terms of Developmental projects and improvement of human infrastructure have no time in mendling in the affairs of the councillor's.
'He has strict adherence to the principle of separation of powers where all arms of government are allowed their constitutional rights to function independently while making sure that there is check and balance on the excesses of other arms'
'Councillors suspension arises from resolutions reached by the legislative arm of the Council on erring members and does not in any way involves the Executive Chairman. So, who so ever is interested in knowing the rationale for the suspension of the Councillors should channel his/her enquiry to the Majority leader of the Council, Etsako Central Local Government, he added
