The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Edo State chapter have felicitates with Nigeria workers on the occasion of the 2020 International workers day celebration.
NAWOJ said despite the ravaging COVID 19 Nigeria workers are confident that every workers will triumph over the pandemic.
According to a statement to the chairperson, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan who urged female journalists in Edo State to always be cautious and observe all the rules by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC and World Health Organization WHO said staying safe is paramount, even as they go about their duties in the state.
She commended the federal government for prompt payment of workers salaries, and called on government at all levels to provide Protective Personal Equipment for workers especially those on essential services.
Comrade Ehimuan advised workers to always put in their best in their various places of work as she enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for the country as well as political leaders for a greater Nation.
