Demolition: One Million Protest to Shut Ghanaian Embassy - Activist

An Edo based eminent socio crusader and activist, Patrick Eholor, has threatened to mobilize no fewer than one million Nigerians on a mass protest over the recent demolition of High Commission building in Ghana if the Nigeria goverment do not act accordingly.

The Ghanaian Government had denied any known on the recent demolition of the building housing staffs of the Nigeria high commission office at Onyasia Cresent, Accra, but also recently tendered an apology to Nigeria over the demolition and promised to rebuild the structure to avert a diplomatic feud.

Why speaking to newsmen on issue bothering on national concern in Benin city, the president of One Love foundation condemned the continued silence of President Mohammadu Buhari on the issue.

He said the actions of Ghanaians will amount to destroying the nation sovereignty and bilateral relationship which both country have enjoyed over the years.

Eholor also expressed fear over subsequent and possible annex of the country by other neighboring nations if the Federal Government refuses to checkmate the ugly trend and demanded for the immediate recall of the Nigeria Ambassador to Ghana

'It is satanic that as at today (Friday) President Muhammadu Buhari has not addressed the issue. I am asking them to do something urgently because when the government refuses to speak for its citizens, as a responsible citizen I would have no choice than to mobilize one million people to the gate of Ghana embassy'

'How can Ghana be so unthinkable to have done such a thing to the largest country within her continent. If the federal government of Nigeria fail to speak, I will have no choice than to mobilize men and women to shut the Ghanaian embassy, trust me, he added.
