A Chieftain of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Comr Bright Iyamu has described the Governor of Edo state Mr Godwin Obaseki as massaih who was divinely ordained for a special mission to wipe away the tears of Edo people.
He said Obaseki and Shaibu re-election has given true meaning, direction to Nigeria narcent democracy irrespective of the nation different political views.
Speaking recently during the commissioning of the newly built market with over 70 open stores at Umoghun Zugbor community, Orhionmwon local government area of the state. He said what the council chairman Hon Sylvester Okoro is doing is an offshoot of Mr Gov quest in delivery the positive dividence of democracy by investing in infrastructural project that are masses driven.
According to him, 'I'm here today with my brother, Amb Wesley Asoro and Vincent Imade incompany of the council chairman to commission this new market which will be use for the benefit of the people in need, this is what governance is all about, not the other way round. This market is timely and strategic, this is to further demonstrate that the people matters most in plan and budget of this present administration. The governor is changing the narratives already. I congratulate him and his deputy.
While commissioning the market, the Enogie of Zugbor community HRH Kingsley Igbinosa Iyayomwengbe assured the LGA boss Hon Okoro that the market will be use for the purpose it was built and promise no vandalization of the property.
Meanwhile, Hon Okoro during the victory party same day also assured the people of Mr governor readiness to construct more infrastructural projects within Orhionmwon in his second term which began November 12, 2020.
