Benin City - A former commissioner for information, Edo state, Hon Charles Idahosa has call on all sons and daughters of Uhumwonde to support continuity concerning who will represent Orhionwmon and Uhumwonde at the federal house of representatives come 2019.
Hon. Idahosa made this call when he received Hon Patrick Aisowieren and other All Progressive Congress, APC, party faithfuls from Orhionwmon to his resident in Benin for a thank you visit.
He said, APC members both in Orhionwmon and Uhumwonde should avoid any thing that is capable of leading both LGAs to disarray and regret.
According to him, if the party must get it right again as it concern Orhionwmon/Uhumwonde federal seat at the national assembly, there is need for them to come together as one, for a common gaol that will bring a better, peaceful and progressive representative.
"We should avoid anything that is capable of coursing problem within the party, as your brother from Uhumwonde I'm in total support that we continue with Hon. Patrick if the spirit of federal character must be maintained as it affect our rep in Abuja. As for me, my candidate for our house of Rep in 2019 election is Hon Patrick.
"We in Uhumwonde are very ready to work with whoever you people from Orhionwmon want us to work with but I advise it should be Hon. Patrick so that your area will not give us setback.
Meanwhile, Hon. Patrick Aisowieren has earlier told Hon. Charles Idahosa and other Uhumwonde sons and daughters present, that he came with party faithfuls and leaders in Orhionwmon to thank them on the positive role played over years.
He said, inline with his usual way of visiting party leaders and members annually, he felt it will be wise for him to execute this year visitation before the forth coming political activities begins saying, there might no be time for him to do so when political activities finally kick off.
"Am here today with my LGA party leaders and members on a thank you visit to Uhunwmomde people because of their developmental role in the scheme of things as relate to Orhionwmon/Uhunwmomde positive movement politically. Am ready to consolidate on my progress and achievement, I want you people to support me again, so that I can do more, I'm ready to do more if am return to Abuja he concluded.
