COZA: PFN Speak on Rape scandal between Fatoyinbo, Dakolos' wife

By Timothy Omobude

The national president of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude has call for a holistic investigation into the alleged rape scandal between senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Rev. Omobude made this call in a statement to newsmen in Benin city, the state capital.
Rape scandal by the wife of popular musician, Bukola Timi Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, has taken a leading role since last Week.
Fatoyinbo, who denied the allegation, however, admitted that Busola once attended the same church with his family.

The PFN president expressed saddened over the allegations of criminal conduct and serial impropriety that have been made against the Cleric.

According to him, “these allegations are not only criminal in nature but antithetical to the tenets of Christianity and a violent breach of the trust that ought to exist between members of the congregation and a Minister of the Gospel.

“We strongly condemn this ignoble and bastardy conduct as alleged against Pastor Fatoyinbo.

“Our prayers, thoughts and support are with all those who have fallen victim as have been reported.

“PFN strongly believe in the pursuit of truth and will ensure that truth is unveiled in this whole matter and appropriate sanctions served.
"Although pastor Fatoyinbo has not in the past subscribed to PFN but we recognized him as a pentecostal pastor"
He warned Pentecostal Pastors who feel they can live carelessly rather than taking undue advantage of their congregants that PFN will not shield anyone who crosses the line.
The PFN national president also urged concerned persons to be peaceful towards the Kingdom while expressing their views over the sad issue.
