The Controller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede has express the agency readings to manage the migration of Nigerians for the economic development of the nation.
Muhammad Babandede stated this while briefing newsmen at the Benin airport as the service commence are activities to mark this year controller general annual conference holding in Benin city, the state capital.
He said, they decided to do this year conference in Edo because it has to do with the management of migration for economic development. So Edo becomes the centre of this conference, last year own we did it in Maiduguri because is has to do with the boarder.

According to him, 'annually we conduct a conference called CGs conference, for this year own we hope the people of Edo will see this opportunity to manage migration better as they move let it be safe and be economically beneficial to them.
"At the end of this conference, we will see an immigration service that is focus towards improving Nigerian economy by contributing it own quarter towards effective migration management.
