As the September election draws closer in Edo state, the president of Godsent foundation Chief Amb Dion Osagie has challenged Edo people to execute him if he fails to perform as a governor if elected.
Chief Osagie stated told journalists in Benin city, the state capital, while declaring hid intention to contest for the seat of the number citizen in the state.
According to him, 'my intention to contest the 2020 governorship election in the state is born out of the present situation of the people, where hunger, insecurity and total hardship have become the order of the day .
'As America based philanthropist i'm painfully worried that the current suffering in the State has become so alarming that most people can no longer feed a day or guarantee their safety, to me, this should be worrisome to every right thinking person in the state.
''I'm contesting the election because of the yearnings of my beloved Edo people, their cry for good and purposeful leadership has been answered, many people are hungry, no electricity, bad roads, failed education system.
He noted that he has been able to put in place a workable education system, where about 150 pupils are now enjoying free education and that he will do more as Governor when elected come September this year. He added he his security votes will be used to provide quality education, electricity, build more infrastructure.
